The 14th-floor rooftop of the Dear Hotel on Gran Vía, right where the avenue meets Plaza de España — a plunge pool by day, and Nice To Meet You, a lounge and restaurant with 360° views, by night.

The sky bar takes walk-ins without a reservation, subject to space, while the restaurant side runs its own separate seating hours — worth knowing which one you're after before arriving. It sits right by Plaza de España metro (Lines 3 and 10), the easiest way in from most of the city.
